Community Science
I am now a part of American Geophysical Union's Thriving Earth Exchange program and working as a Community Science Fellow to conduct projects with grass-root communities in environmental justice. We aim to build an educational tool for a few small towns in Georgia to support their environmental justice efforts toward proposal and construction of industrial plants and demand more transparency and active involvement of the public in the decision-making of such proposals.

Encourage NSF funding for Community Science
On October 7, 2022, AGU Thriving Earth Exchange will hold a half-day workshop to demonstrate the need for the National Science Foundation to launch a new track on Community Science, Citizen Science, and Community Resilience.
This track is one of several that NSF is considering for its convergence accelerator initiative.
